Dark Everett’s “origin” will be one of the last in the comic, as it winds down, probably year five, year six, as things currently stand. His origin unwraps many of the mysteries established in the story, and so it’s got to come later, but MAN, I cannot wait to share the stuff I’ve been sitting on for a year and a half…
I won’t spoil what the ambulance is all about, but this sequence is (slight spoiler:)
The beginnings of the Andrus story.
(End spoiler)
I feel comfortable sharing that, because how it becomes that, and the details, are all still hidden, plus I gave away that this year would explore Andrus in the previews.
The general sequence for this year, per the previews, are: Central Park/Mysterious Andrus/Man From Relative Now/Terror Lightning/Corporate Charlie/Darkest Mirror.
I can’t WAIT for you guys to see the pages I have. The first double splash is coming on March 5. 🙂
So….approximately every two months, the arc changes?
So we should be revisiting the Undertaker around May/June-ish, then I think the CC/DM arc should take up the fall (and winter) of our discontent LOL plus I believe they are interconnected somehow, just guessing, but I think I have an idea it will not be good for our loyal gang(s) of Scoobies 😉
LOL Oh, I was just breaking it down as that we were given 6 previews, and even though this arc started in December, it ended in February, so I broke it down as approximate 2 month long arcs, and extrapolated it across the year, don’t care if I am right, just working on an assumption 🙂
So this is what I assume is the beginning of Book 4, with the NakedFuckWorld/Central Park arc being Book 3, then?
Is it just me or does WE look much younger than normal, or maybe it has to do with him not having a frowny-face? LOL
I was thinking maybe I was going to have to invoke my favorite sci-fiesque sniglet: Elsewhen 🙂 Def. These events are occurring simultaneously, but at different points in the time/space continuum, in ways that interact with each other despite the chronological differences (ie. the three Enterprises in the STNG finale ‘All Good Things’ and the graviton beams)
In this example, I believe although we are looking at DE having been shot by Squirt, we are in a parallel universe where (as others suspect) Charlie is a doctor and works at the mentioned hospital…and I got nothing more, just grasping at the transcendental straws here, people 😉
I can’t answer that without spoiling, but it’s generally paced around an episodic 22-25 page issue format, yes. Intentionally, because I like structured pauses for the longer form reader.
I apologize for being remiss in thanking you for putting me in your comic. I’ve been caught up in my own little world too long–what with being a paramedic and all. 😉
And the only thing I can think to say is, “The biggest problem with the python, while it is undoubtedly one of the greatest pistols ever made, is the way Colt does their cylinder release.” Have to admit, some part of me still dreams that it has sandalwood grips.
[furrows brow with confusion]
If this is what I think it is, I’m really excited. If it’s not, well, I’m sure Mr. Bailey has an even better idea than what I’m thinking….
What do you think it is? (Just curious.)
This can’t end well.
Nope. 🙂
Has anything? LOL
I can’t wait to see where this is going.
Mwu ha ha ha!
Well, it wasn’t Charlene…drat. 🙂
First guess…this world’s Charlie works at that hospital, likely in the ER. If so, it’s gonna be a race!
Ah, I see what you just said there LOL
DE’s orgin?
Nah, but interesting thought 🙂
Damn. I’m looking forward to that part.
AFAIK, there is a thought to such a story, but not within the current storyline 🙂

That can’t be spoilerish to answer, right? LOL
Book three has a ways to go yet before it is complete. We’re about halfway there.
Gotcha, boss LOL
OK, got it figured now…..no, I don’t 🙁

No sweat, man! No thanks needed, it was our pleasure.

Ah, you bloody bastard. I found you.
