Greg Rucka recommended this web comic. I love it greatly. Read the whole thing over the last two days. Are there any printed volumes? There should be; the whole reading experience would change if you could read from one page to another more smoothly.
I love the basic idea you’ve got going here. My presumption is, at some point, we find out some Charlie somewhere made the stones, since they only seem to work for him… maybe some Charlie in the far future.
But, anyway, I’m sure you’ve got that all under control.
Oddly, a friend of mine and I came up with a kind of similar idea for a comic back in the 80s, where a guy was about to kill himself and he was saved by an alternate world version of himself who’d gotten hold of a dimension traveling machine. They went on and picked up a few more versions of themselves. Oddly, we called our guy Charles, too, mostly because Charles lends itself to a lot of nicknames. And they got in trouble when they ended up trying to help a Charles in a dimension where the Nazis had won World War II… or that was our plan. We never did anything more than bs about it. (But I do remember that the first guy, who was going to kill himself, was called ‘Charlie’, and the guy who rescued him, a much more outgoing version who had grown up in a world where he was a jock, was called ‘Chuck’. And, yeah, we had The Inevitable Girl in the team, too, and I’m sure her name was Charlene, although everyone called her Honey, which just annoyed her.
We called the idea THE CLONE PATROL, although there were no clones in it.
You’re doing it much better than we would have, though. Probably.
Anyway, really enjoying the comic. If you do a hard copy, I will buy one.
We do in fact have trades… I would start with Year One, which you can get from our Storenvy link under STORE on the front page… There are a few packages depending on how much you want to spend.
Wow, that’s one bad-ass MFer with a gun leading that security detail. Just Saying
Likes a’ which would give Norris a run for his beard.
Yeah, but how would he fare in a fight against a couple of bandits? 😉
