I’m going to need this one on a poster.

I like the title of this page–poor Pavlov. I’ve been thinking for awhile–who is going to take care of Pavlov? Charlie Prime pretty much left his Pavlov behind when he left with Leo.

    Question with/out an answer?:

Is what we are seeing some new ability CP has? I’m not sure if the look on the Nerd’s face is just being in awe of CP’s anchoring, or if he sees all these “windows” as we are….

Or is this simply a shorthand way of showing CP/Nerd having ported back but found nothing?

@Kate: That question sits alongside just why Mrs. Arntzen is deadโ€ฆ but she canโ€™t be helped…and why the iRocks are always in her jewelry box…

Yeah–It’s a little pathetic how much I’ve been worrying about the well-being of a fictional dog. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I like to imagine that there was a group of Charlies that formed a Pavlov Rescue Squad to take care of all the Pavlovs that were left behind, and started a ranch in the anchor universe for Pavlov to run around in. (And then it was incinerated when Dark Everett bombed the anchor universe.)

…Now that I have left everyone with that incredibly depressing thought, I’m going to get back to work…

Oh, I know you weren’t calling me pathetic–I was just poking fun at myself for spending so much time thinking about something so random and not entirely relevant to the story (that we know of).

        Hah! To address the questions…

I labeled this one “Poor Pavlov” for a reason… because I haven’t forgotten that he left his poor dog behind. The fate of most Pavlovs WILL be discussed, but Charlie Prime’s Pavlov has a special bit of story coming up… you’ll see. ๐Ÿ™‚

As for the entire Anchor Universe being totally destroyed, I don’t want to spoil anything, but I will say that I really, REALLY enjoy dystopian stories of survivors of nuclear war.

        Don’t you?

In other, COMPLETELY UNRELATED news, I’m writing the latter half of year two… (cough)

I have nothing on the docket about what would happen if a male/female Pavlov pairing were to breed… but that doesn’t rule it out in the far-flung future. I’m gonna stick to crazy things like _ _ R _ _ R _ T _ Charlie for now… and his goatee.

        Mwu ha ha ha ha!

If it’s one thing I’ve learned over the years of listening to your commentaries, emailing you about serials, and reading Cura, Neal, it’s that you love to give hints and semi-spoilers to anyone who’s interested ( :: cough cough:: your entire outline for Blue Harvest which ended up becoming my Bible when I started writing my serial :: cough cough::)

I was in no way inferring the question as pathetic, just saying there are questions we do have that have no more concrete answer than what we already know….Having been a rabid devotee of Stephen King’s Dark Tower, I am used to the idea of having to wait years for answers to questions I have..because it was an average of 5-6 years between installments, though in publishing time, a question you first asked in The Gunslinger, for instance, published in 1982, was finally answered in a book called Wizard & Glass, published in 1997 ๐Ÿ˜‰

And your PRS idea is something I could see become fanfic if you think about it too hard LOL plus as I mentioned elsewhere, I don’t think he nailed the entire AU, but enough of it to really complicate issues (DUH) so maybe that imaginary Pavlov ranch is still around, or maybe they didn’t even set it up in the AU…and here’s another twist of sorts to your idea, free of charge:

As we know, Charlene is the rare female Charlie, and we have been assured of seeing other Chars in (due) time, so could there be not just male Pavlovs, but female Pavlovs as well? And when they meet, would they breed? There could be a pocket universe of Pavlov^2 dogs…..

OK, Fearless Leader, private inquiry coming your way, be warned LOL
