This morning, I woke up to discover I had contracted flu. I languished in my bed, bemoaning cruel fate and gazing with glazed eyes at a computer screen that showed me the same things I had been looking at for years… articles and comics and videos blended into a mindless, seething mass of meaningless colour…
But then, it came. A light in the darkness. A stray link led me to Cura Te Ipsum, and I fell into an abyss of article binging and fevered exclamations at this, this… well, piece of art. I read it all in the space of five hours and no doubt I will be checking this webpage every day. My mind is blown, good sirs.
Thank you. Thank you, so, so much.
P.S: I was shocked that this didn’t have a tv tropes page. I am making one now. And also, to the commenter formerly known as punx: I totally ship you and Kate now.
I look forward to seeing the TV Tropes page. I’ve been thinking Cura needed one for a while, but since I’m a lurker and not a troper I wasn’t sure where to begin.
I keep wanting to add a link to the site under the Cura Te Ipsum wiki page, but I have a thing against making wikis of myself and things I’ve worked with. Leads to less me on Wikipedia, but that whole sleeping at night thing, heh.
I am not, however, so shameless as to not beg of the outside world to make such a thing, and I’m always grateful when I see Cura on the CBDB (whoever has been doing that, you’re rad) or out there in an article (thank you, Kate!).
These last few pages of brawling through dimensions and places have been outstanding. Can’t wait to see how this brawl ends. Also good work on setting up the tvtropes page Ayra.
