I really like this interlude in the story. I think it grounds Charlie Prime even more than his mission to help take down Dark Everett. This bit on the playground reminds me of this passage by philosopher J. Krishnamurti:
“Surely a man who is living richly, a man who sees things as they are and is content with what he has, is not confused; he is clear, therefore he does not ask what is the purpose of life. For him the very living is the beginning and the end.”
I hope Charlie Prime will treasure living richly as much as he does a set abstract purpose.
Prime has officially reached the point where he needs to be poured into a cab and sent home. XD
Well, if Prime kisses Charlene that’s basicly kissing himself. Heheeheee….
Okay, I think now’s the point where Charlene’s going to slap him.
Also–where did Charlie get the clown bunny?
Uh-oh. Will it be the searing pain of rejection that transforms Prime into the Dark Everett?

I’m looking forward to Charlene’s response to this.
^^
I think the look on Charlene’s face in the last panel is a strong indicator of Monday’s response.
