One of the things I love about this comic is for no ‘sound words’. It’s left open for the reader to make the background sounds inside their inner voice. I LOVE that!
I’m thinking of the dialogue here as pre-echoes followed by the actual spoken word followed by echoes…only example I can come up with is Led Zep’s “Whole Lotta Love’ 😉 but I think you get what I mean LOL
I don’t think he was afraid of dying–I think he was afraid of being turned inside-out, or something else worse than dying, especially since falling through the portal was already surreal enough as is.

And as for the tesseract, I think a subtle white/pink noise would be the ambient sound profile 🙂

On one hand, I’d say that’s too easy, but then again, makes as much sense as any LOL
