“What’s wrong with us?”: That’s the question that’s going to send them deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole.
Also, I’ve been thinking, and one thing that I think is really interesting about the way Neal presents this world is that the comic never comes out and says one way or another “this place is a sexy utopian paradise” or “this place is a creepy dystopia.” Each of the characters seems to have their own way of approaching it, leaving it open for the readers to interpret how we think of this place.
I’ll look into it right away… let me know if it persists…
Also, thank you so much for the compliment about not being on the nose with judgment about the world. I worked very hard to present it that way, and I’m damned glad it worked out. 🙂
I love your comic, but draw some non-hardbodies once in a while. If you want to draw super hero comics, then draw them, but real people aren’t this fit. You’re giving me a complex.
They don’t look too fit in the first panel. In that one they kind of look like they just were let out of a Nazi concentration camp. But yeah, it is kind of strange how all the Charlies seem to not only have avoided putting on weight, but also put on a lot of muscles instead. Maybe it’s genetic?
For what it’s worth, besides the Charlies, he mentioned before that everybody on this world is going to tend towards the attrative/fit end of the spectrum, more of intentionally embracing a cliche than trying to fight it.
I have a question that might seem random, but is anyone else using Firefox having problems with the site? It looks fine in IE and Chrome, but when I look at it in Firefox it appears all wonky.

Cheers.

Poor Billie. He wants to live, but has no control over his life. “It Sucks.”

I don’t really consider this random. Nothing seems off, but that’s just me. What version are you using?
I installed Firefox and didn’t get any problems. If you continue getting them, though, let me know.
Firefox is my default browser. Works fine for me 24/7
That was deep, Billy…Bravo!
And yes, I agree that this is the fulcrum upon which the whole of the Charliverse(tm) pivots, isn’t it? 🙂
OK. Cool. Apparently all I needed to do was clear my cookies and cache and the website got back to normal. Thanks for the feedback.
