If I’m not misremembering, the Hank we’ve known longest is Nerd’s Hank, right? This young hank we’ve just met is Billie’s Hank. And this page seems to be told from Prime’s memory, making this the third Hank we’ve seen. Am I right? Does it even matter with Hanks?

Sorry, deleted that whole last comment and revised. In my head, it was the last page that was to go up today, not this one, and that comment was addressed to the last page.

Yes, this is a third Hank, Charlie Prime’s Hank, though it is also the collective Hank, the likely timeline for the average Hank, that Charlie Prime is relaying to a younger Hank.

The “cartel” story is one I hope to do as a standalone, if things go well. Along with the story of Mrs. Arntzen.

I am so curious about Mrs. Arntzen. Really looking forward to that.

What I’m wondering is–what kind of cartel is it? Drugs? Weapons? Black-market beagles? Bootleg Star Trek DVDs?

Okay, so I was trying to explain the concept of Cura Te Ipsum to my girlfriend, and this was our conversation:

“So, remind me again why that guy has no nose?”

“He cut off his nose to spite his face.”

“But that’s just a saying! Does he also put his cart before his horse?”
