I’m a new reader who found you because of io9, and their latest article on sexy webcomics. TOTALLY not what I expected, but more amazing for it. I have been up all night reading this (As my timestamp will prove) and am absolutely glued to the screen.
And imagine my delight when not only the webcomic itself is incredible, but so are the commenters! Kate and Punx, as well as your responses to them, add a lot more depth to to the story. I really, really love it.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that you are effing AMAZING, and I look forward to everything you plan for this to be.
I second the motion, though as Lord BaileyMort has done to us in the past, I doubt we are correct….seemed he was pretty much disintegrated by the blast front, but then again, he could have survived somewhat, and here he is….I mean, Lord BM ;), are we ever going to get a true assessment of just how much devastation DE did to the AU? because if this is a non-destroyed part of the AU, then he didn’t destroy it all, and if this is some other parallel universe, how would UE have gotten there?

As for the devastation, you will very much see it, and before the end of this year of story. (Technically, you already did when the Dark Everett was a smartass and made the mega-portal to HQ, but I mean actually GOING to the Anchor Universe again.)
I too am a new reader, via the iO9 blog, and I managed to catch up and thoroughly enjoy the story so far! 😀 Definitely something new and refreshing! :]

OK, obviously whom DE is talking to is someone we have met before, but as you mention this being the beginning of the Andrus arc, are we to assume that this is not UE, but whom Andrus is supposed to be at first (ala Smeagol/Gollum)?
