Charlie Prime sure does think on his feet!

Truer words have never been said, man LOL

This just got 1000% more problematic for DE than I think he expected 😉

I think, without question, if I were to be confronted by a version of myself that was so anti-me as DE seems to be to CP, it would definitely rewrite my whole meaning of life…

I know right. It’s like everything is up in the air now. Whatever DE had planned, CP keeps throwing wrenches.

I also like the fact the frames are almost fluid enough that you could say it takes as long for the action to occur as it takes to read them LOL

(Hopefully Neal or Dex might back me up on what I am trying to say 😉 )

Plus CP’s about to spill the beans about the Anchor Universe, so I’d say it’s safe to say things are about to get more complicateded (no, that’s not a misprint LOL)

Dex gets the credit for the pacing… He’s amazing, in my opinion, at divining what I was going for.

Things will definitely get more complicated for DE, though, as you’ll see, not too complicated to lose any of his threat.

As an aside, it means the world to me that you guys are right on these pages as they come on… So rad!

Thanks for the back, sir LOL

Would expect him not to lose any of his menace, just finding that his “foolproof” plan seems to have a fool in it, and it’s not CP 😉

As for being on it ASAP, have my daughter for the 3 day weekend, and it just happened I was here early enough to comment (usually I’d just wait for morning) as I have been burning through this whole confrontation for a few updates, just waiting for the shoe to fall, and boy did it!

Yeah, this is pretty much the only webcomic that I absolutely MUST read the day it updates, either right after midnight or first thing in the morning.

And I’ll say it along with everyone else—Neal and Dex are the perfect team!

Thanks for the comments. This was a fun page to draw. Neal’s writing is so clear that I could picture out what he’s going for 😉

On other fun side. What’s songs would make a great Cura soundtrack?

Stephen already mention Switch Foot DARE TO GO.

I would like to add Cold Play – FIX YOU, Kings Of Leon – Use Somebody, One Republic – SECRET, Jar of Clay – WEAPONS, The Killers – HUMAN

I always pictured Charlene as a big fan of the band Sleater-Kinney, and I imagine that, in the depths of her depression before joining Cura Te Ipsum, she listened to their song “Jumpers” a lot.

I second the Killers – Human. That would be a nice thematic addition.

I hate to be that guy, but it’s Switchfoot’s “Dare You To Move” 😛

I would change “Fix You” from Coldplay to Straight No Chaser, only because I love their cover so much more. Also, I would add “Learning to Fly” by Pink Floyd.

I wanted to throw George Thorogood “I Drink Alone” on that list if its still open.

Why did they kick him back through the portal? I wish he had died!
Damn, I’m horribly close to present day…

I know I’m commenting much later than everyone else, but I want to add that the beginning of this comic got “All You Wanted” by Michelle Branch stuck in my head.

Also, the part where the Anchor universe was blown up reminded me of the Merry Minuet.
