You forgot the ‘douchebag’ tag. But it’s okay, I forgive you. 😀

I imagine that when Charlie was growing up, his dad didn’t like Hank all that much, and kept mistakenly calling him “Harvey” just to piss off Charlie.

And this is why I love this woman <3

In all seriousness, though, Kate, is that Barbara Gordon in your avatar? Just noticed the batlike shape though cropped and the only redhead I can assume it would be is her…..

I like the call-back to Charlie Prime’s canning here.

Wait, I’m confused. I was confused in the beginning too. What does “additional redundancy” mean here? I get that he was fired (and only now do I get that Charlie attempted suicide because he was fired), but how does the term “additional redundancy” relate to getting fired?

Also, interesting twist, how Corporate Charlie is the one doing the firing, instead of getting canned himself. Looks like HE won’t be committing any suicide anytime soon.

A “redundancy” is a fancy corporate word for someone they’ve decided to fire to save money. They’ve been declared “redundant.” It’s a euphemistic way of breaking the news to avoid conflict.

An additional redundancy is basically the Corporate Charlie saying “We found a way to make someone else do two people’s jobs so your one is an additional savings we can have, because money is more important than you or your work for us.”
