I’m not sure what’s funnier: the page itself or Kate. Also, why do people always keep trying after the first time the gun doesn’t shoot? Why not just check the ammo then?
I think the idea is that they might have missed a bullet when loading the gun. However, having never handled or shot a revolver, I have really no idea.
With Hank it was frustration, like “HEY, COME ON, WORK, damn you!” He didn’t know there were no bullets in the other chambers.
With the Dark Everett, it’s because he thinks it’s funny, in his own twisted way, and to scare. He’s trying to provoke a reaction from Andrus, and he notably doesn’t get one.
A wry remark from DE. I’m enjoying the meeting of these two. It’ll be fun to watch the similarities between the DE/Andrus relationship and the Leo/Prime relationship develop.
