You know, looking at the Dark Everett, you’ve got to feel a little sad because even though the Dark Everett is an evil mass-murderer, he’s still Charlie.
I can’t wait to see what happens next, including the Dark Everett’s inevitable return from the dead and Squirt’s reaction to having just killed a man.
Damn it, Ma’am, but that first paragraph is why I have an imaginary shrine to you in my heart 😉
Yes, when you break it all down to brass tacks, everyone is Charlie in the end (and the beginning LOL)…but I feel Squirt’s actions themselves figure into his reaction to having killed a man, which is he knew what he was doing when he did it, premeditated potential homicide, wouldn’t be surprised if the spark was being left behind that one last time when Char was trying to convince him it was for the best…
Punx, you are hilarious. I hope you mean that whole “shrine to you in my heart” thing in the purely platonic sense though, or else my significant other just might get jealous and things would be horribly awkward for all parties involved. 😉
Well, platonic it must be, since for all I know, you’re on the other side of the country! But seriously, I like what you have to say a lot of times, and I guess you could say I’m a fan 🙂
The Charliverse should be so lucky 🙁

Wow, just finished reading this in one sitting, love the story. Congrats
Thank you!
Shot in the shoulder…dead my arse.
As much as it would help the gang, I doubt he is out of the picture.
I have a feeling this is also a bit of a giveaway: http://www.charlieeverett.com/2011/11/18/promo-6/
Oh, Neil, you clever bastard.
Just looked up something that explains it all. I need to brush up on my Latin, apparently.
And Book Three, off to a fantastic start!
