It is in the anchor universe, necessarily, because they ported right to it. Only DE and Charlie can port to specific places outside the anchor (for reasons unexplained of yet), and Charlie hasn’t seen Undertaker to this point, so if they take him to Undertaker, it has to be an anchor stop.
I really like the parallels you keep drawing between Dark Everett and Charlie. It draws attention to how different they (hopefully) will be shown to be…where it counts, at least.
