Definitely something going on in this universe around clothing. Maybe there’s a shortage of the materials used to make them, so having clothes is seen as a symbol of high status (And thus a lot of clothed people would be selfish gits)? Could also be a pollution thing (though how that would work with clothes I have no idea.) leading to a social stigma around it… hm.

Then there’s the whole “rape free zone” where you can’t wear clothes though. And we haven’t seen any large amounts of people running around, so maybe it’s a depopulation thing? People wearing clothing don’t “consent” or whatever, so they’re selfish and holding back repopulation? Auuuugh, too many theories!

But I feel like there’s also something weird about those two people…

If I had to guess I would say the hippie movement won and installed free love et al. in this universe.

Perhaps they’re being selfish because they’re not letting others see their delicious, naked bodies? So the natives react sort of like clothed people might react to a bunch of nudists in our own world, except instead of the natives thinking that wearing clothes as merely ‘uptight’, they go farther in their scorn.

    Good guess, but negatory. 🙂

The story will let you know on Monday…

Is this “change” (not really, but no better metaphor LOL) in Char’s attitude an effect of physical exposure (no pun intended) to this dimension per se, or is it related to the physical exposure in this dimension bothering her? I mean, that title/statement is pretty dark, almost sounds like something DE would say (see my previous comment about this particular subject last update LOL)
