Just to clarify, this is A Charlene, not Charlie Prime’s Charlene?

It is ambiguous to a story purpose. I will say that I wouldn’t put a random Charlene up there so prominently if there weren’t some significance to her.

        Hmm…interesting…

I think we can safely say at this point it’s DE’s Charlene….but doesn’t *have* to be Prime’s Charlene (because a single change in the timeline can change that outcome)…

I think some of the best parts of the story are parts where something completely unexpected or unexplained happens. As much as I love speculating about what’s going to happen, with a million thoughts going a mile a minute, sometimes it’s cool when Neal shakes up the story and I just have to sit back and see how things progress.

…And then my insatiably curious side pops up again, and I wonder– to whom does the “he” in “he doesn’t know” refer? The Dark Everett, or someone else? (Just thinking out-loud. I don’t need an answer, or a non-answer answer.)

The point is, I’m drawn in.

Awesome. There will be plenty of random, unexplained things that will eventually be explained coming. This scene is among my favorites so far. Wait until NEXT week… ๐Ÿ™‚

The suspense, itโ€™s killing me. This is why I started waiting one to two weeks before reading the comic. Neal, stop trying to kill me.

So, do we ever get to find out what was going on here? I’m still wondering what he wrote…

Yes! But I will tell you way forward, at the most recent page (845) so I don’t spoil folks here for the first time.
